Ventriloquist enjoyed by all

An amateur ventriloquist gave an impromptu show in the botanical gardens of Angola's 101 Lounge last Saturday night. Claiming he had run out of money and needed gas to get back home, Purcivel Van Hoosen of Wisconsin went to his mini-van and came back with a virtually complete, larger-than-life, hand-carved dummy of himself. For the next three hours, Van Hoosen kept the crowd in stitches with snippets of Simpson's dialogue and a word-for-word retelling of the Austin Powers movie series. The cheesehead garnered enough tips to buy plenty of gas, but only after promising he'd never return to this part of the state again.
