An Angola girl who survived the first three rounds of American Idol competition now finds herself in another battle----for public forgiveness. Maria Sournote, 12, saw her fleeting fame come crashing down after a photographer caught in her in an embarrassing moment at a holiday party. Sournote allegedly drank 42 energy drinks and broke into an endless loop of "I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas." Sournote issued a statement through her lawyer. "I sincerely apologize for my lack of judgment," she said. "That song is annoying if sung only once."
